Studios and Operation
STUDIO LOCATION:
Country 106.8FM will be based at a new property to be erected at 7 Gardiner Row, Dublin 1. The owner has received planning permission for a four-storey over basement office block at this location and intends to commence development on site on 1st March 2001 with works to be completed by 1st August 2001. Country 106.8FM will occupy the First Floor which consists of 3000 sq feet of accommodation and the landlord has agreed that a transmission dish may be located on the roof of the building subject to relevant statutory approvals. The company will enter into an appropriate leasehold agreement.
The premises has direct line of sight to the transmitter station on Three Rock and this has been confirmed by BTS.
A lift will be installed throughout the building which will comply with all building regulations.
There will be full access and provision for wheelchair and disabled persons throughout.
Architects drawing, Owner's Agreement and proposed Studio Layout are attached.
The owner of 7 Gardiner Place is Senator Donie Cassidy who is a connected person to the consortium in that his son Peter Cassidy is a shareholder. The leasehold agreement with the landlord and The True Spirit of Ireland Ltd will be conducted at arm's length on a purely commercial basis.
